 TOYO MIYATAKE STUDIO was founded by Toyo Miyatake in October of 1923. It was established as one of the premier portrait studios in Los Angeles. After World War 2, the studio reopened back in the Little Tokyo area. Archie Miyatake later moved the studio to the San Gabriel Valley in 1985. The studio has a reputation for quality portraits and traditional wedding photographs, as well as a journalistic "art book" black and white images. Alan Miyatake, owner and photographer, and Loreen Watanabe, photographer, will service you for wedding and portrait consultation.
